Ginger Hintz
Program & Administrative AssociateGinger Hintz joined WDN in June of 2011. Ginger grew up on the prairies of South Dakota. Looking beyond the horizon motivated her to move to Ohio, where she graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BA in Environmental Policy and an MA in American Cultural Studies with an emphasis on Women’s Studies.
Wanderlust took Ginger to Seattle where she worked as a Program Assistant within the College Ready team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for over four years. Through her experiences at the Gates Foundation, her work as a Family Philanthropy Fellow at Resource Generation, and her education in social justice philanthropy with Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, Ginger has sharpened her skills in strategic grantmaking, critical social justice analysis, and advocating for effective knowledge management practices.
In her free time, Ginger enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with friends and her asthmatic kitty.
