Annual Conference

The WDN annual conference is a highlight of my year. The speakers are top notch. It’s like the best college reunion, graduate seminar, and friends’ night out I ever went to, all rolled into one. I always leave brimming with new ideas and energy.Member, Barbara Dobkin

Our annual conference, WDN Connect, brings members together to connect with one another and learn with cutting-edge leaders in the progressive movement. In 2017, we will gather in Atlanta from November 9-12.

We learned about Detroit, a city that is a case study for renewal and rebirth in the face of massive industrial restructuring, job loss, and environmental and education crises. Check out highlights from our program.

With a crowd of more than 110 members and guests for Imagine 2030, we stepped into the future and used three different potential scenarios as fodder for engaging in deep conversations and action planning about who we are as a community and where we want to go.
