Lori Colina-Lee

Lori comes from a family where she was encouraged to follow her dreams and where creativity was cherished and encouraged. After finishing her B.A. in psychology from Alma College, she went on to Colorado State and received her BFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelrymaking. She loves working on her one-of-a-kind designs as a jeweler/metalsmith and shows her work through art galleries.

Lori was on the Board of the Colorado Metalsmithing Association for 6 years and was the recipient of the NICHE award which celebrates excellence and innovation in American and Canadian fine craft. She is also a board member of the Colina Foundation, a small family run foundation that is dedicated to improving the lives of children. Lori is passionate about women’s rights and equality as the key to a better future. She also loves reading, traveling, and the beauty of the natural environment around her.
